Office Policies

Hours

Sessions are by appointment only. At this time, our providers do not offer evening or weekend appointments.

PAYMENT

Our office operates on a fee-for-service basis, that is, payment in full is due at the time of service. We accept the following forms of payment: Cash, check, debit cards, flex benefit cards, Visa, and MasterCard.

INSURANCE

We are authorized out-of-network providers for most major insurance carriers, which means you are likely to be entitled to reimbursement for our services through your health insurance or employee benefits plan. Please check the terms of your out-of-network mental health coverage with your benefits administrator in advance of your initial consultation. We do not file claims at the office; however, the process is generally straightforward: we provide you with an invoice for our services that can be submitted along with a standard claim form.

Claim forms are available online at or through your benefits administrator. We will gladly help you with any aspect of this process that is needed in terms of assistance completing forms, and at times, advocating for single case provider agreements, when applicable. Most of our patients receive reimbursement for our services.

CANCELLATIONS and NO-SHOWS

The courtesy of a 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule  appointments. This allows other clients to take advantage of the available time and helps keep costs down for everyone. We may assess a late cancellation fee for notice less than 24 hours in advance. Failure to keep an appointment also will be assessed a fee, as we would be unable to use that time for other patients potentially in need of being seen urgently. Please do not hesitate to speak with any of us if you have questions about these policies.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

In general, most of us follow the Wake County Public School System inclement weather policies for closing our clinics. Please refer to your clinician’s voicemail on days of inclement weather for specifics on his or her policy.
